Top Cabinets by Height
Nobilia offers top cabinets in precisely matched heights so they integrate seamlessly into the lines of your kitchen. Heights of 125.8 cm, 133 cm, and 140.2 cm are available for a flush finish with the top edge of tall cabinets. The compact height of 75.4 cm is ideal for connecting to highboards and creates a harmonious transition in the plan. This way, you make optimal use of every available height and achieve a calm, continuous overall look.
Top Cabinet with Tambour
Tambour top cabinets are the ideal solution for narrow or frequently used kitchen areas because the tambour opens upward to save space and does not protrude into the room. Models that stand directly on the worktop are particularly popular – optionally with a plastic or glass tambour. They add a high-quality accent and are especially elegant eye-catchers in L- or U-shaped kitchens, for example in the corner as a harmonious connection to tall cabinets. For this planning, we particularly recommend the deep top cabinets with a side depth of 58.2 cm or at least 43 cm so that there is enough storage space and surface area for kitchen appliances. 3-way socket Another advantage: all tambour top cabinets are delivered ex works with an integrated 3-way socket. This allows you to operate a toaster, coffee machine, or mixer directly in the cabinet – neatly stored and always ready to hand.

Pull-Out Interior Shelf for Top Cabinets
The shelf is equipped with a slide-in lock and can therefore be retrofitted easily in top cabinets with plastic tambours. Thanks to its self-latching mechanism, it remains securely in place when pulled out and unlocks automatically as soon as you push it back in. With an integrated recess as spill protection – ideal for damp appliances such as kettles or coffee grinders. Tip: We particularly recommend the ITAB-AJ for top cabinets with plastic tambours, as the shelf is especially convenient to use here and the appliance disappears completely behind the closed tambour.
Top Cabinets for Microwaves
For integrating electrical appliances, Nobilia offers top cabinets for microwaves. They feature a spacious appliance niche, shelves, and a fixed filler panel, enabling ergonomic positioning of the appliance.

So that the top cabinet fits your kitchen and your appliance perfectly, we require the exact model designation for microwave top cabinets. Based on your information, we check whether adjustments are necessary and, if needed, adapt the cabinet to the selected electrical appliance free of charge. This ensures that the niche, panel, and operating clearances are exactly right and that your appliance fits optimally.
Top Cabinets with Door, Drawer & Shelves
For classic, versatile storage, Nobilia offers top cabinets with doors, drawers, and shelves. Dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, or supplies disappear neatly behind the front and blend harmoniously into the kitchen run. The combination of door and drawer provides high flexibility and ideal everyday access. This variant is particularly suitable for kitchens that need as much storage space as possible while maintaining clear lines.
Filler Strips for Top Cabinets
Filler strips for top cabinets are available in heights of 125.8 cm, 133 cm, 140.2 cm, and 75.4 cm, in widths of 10 cm or 20 cm, and in a depth of 35 cm. You can choose to use them in carcass material (APK) for subtle, carcass-flush finishes or in front material (APD) if the front appearance should remain continuous. The heights are matched to the respective Nobilia tall cabinet heights so that the entire kitchen run finishes cleanly and flush at the top.
Top cabinets in the “-1” category are structurally designed so that, together with “-1” tall cabinets, they reach exactly the same overall height. A typical structure looks like this:
Base cabinet (72 cm) + plinth (15 cm) + worktop (3.8 cm) + top cabinet/filler strip (125.8 cm) result in a total installation height of 216.6 cm.
A “-1” tall cabinet with a 201.6 cm carcass + 15 cm plinth also reaches 216.6 cm.
This way, top cabinet + filler strip and tall cabinet finish in one line at the top – without offsets, without visible height differences, and with a calm, continuous front view. Ideal for plannable Nobilia kitchens in which top cabinets and tall cabinets should appear like a unified block.
