Why choose passage doors from Nobilia?

Nobilia passage doors integrate fully into your tall cabinet run. Front color, line design, and dimensions match the rest of the kitchen exactly—the door looks like a normal cabinet element, while still providing full access to the utility room or pantry.

The key advantage: all Nobilia front colors and decors are available—from matte and high-gloss to wood look or handleless Line N. This creates a consistently harmonious, high-quality front appearance without any visible transition.

Stable 16 mm side panels, a matching top cover panel, and modern 110° hinges ensure durable and comfortable use. Thanks to widths of 60, 80, 100, and 120 cm, the door can be planned flexibly as a single- or double-leaf version.

In short: only Nobilia offers a passage door that matches the kitchen 100% visually and technically—and elegantly conceals adjoining rooms.

Ranges, door systems & dimensions

Nobilia passage doors are available in the standard range with handles or as handleless Line N. Both versions can be fully integrated into the tall cabinet run and follow the same system and grid logic.

Door systems

Lipped doors consist of two or three front segments arranged one above the other. The layout follows the Nobilia grid and ensures that the kitchen’s horizontal lines—such as the typical base cabinet height or other grid heights—continue neatly into the tall cabinet. This creates a harmonious, continuous front appearance.

Continuous doors consist of a single front panel. They deliberately avoid horizontal divisions and therefore appear flat, calm, and very modern—ideal for minimalist designs without visible line progression.

Dimensions & integration

Heights

The passage doors are based on the fixed Nobilia tall cabinet height classes. This allows them to fit cleanly into any tall cabinet run without custom dimensions:

  • 201.6 cm → Height 1

  • 208.8 cm → Height 1X / 2

  • 216.0 cm → Height 2X / 3

  • 223.2 cm → Height 3X

XL variants (-X) are used when the entire kitchen is planned in XL. This keeps base cabinets, highboards, wall cabinets, and passage doors in one continuous line design—all horizontal joints align exactly flush.

Widths

  • 60 & 76 cm: single-leaf

  • 80, 100 & 120 cm: double-leaf

This means the system covers all typical planning cases and can be integrated easily into any tall cabinet run.

Depth

The depth corresponds to the standardized Nobilia tall cabinet depth of 56.1 cm. Depending on the model, depth reductions are possible to solve special room situations.

Conclusion

Thanks to the clear Nobilia system logic, passage doors can be integrated with millimeter precision—for harmonious segmentation or a calm, flat look, depending on the desired design appearance.

Construction & technology

Nobilia passage doors are systematically constructed: two side panels and a matching top cover panel (16 mm each) form the frame. In addition, there are one or two plinth panels with connecting brackets, as well as a front in matching Nobilia decors. The door hinge side can be chosen on the left or right, and everything is delivered disassembled for on-site installation.

Technically, the doors rely on high-quality hinges, with an opening angle of 110° from the 2026 collection onward. The elements are stably fastened laterally over the entire height and additionally connected to the rear wall. Widths, heights, and front divisions are fixed and cannot be changed—this ensures full system compatibility.
