Hinged-door base cabinets are the basic model in the Nobilia base cabinet range. Inside are 1.6 cm thick shelves with a 1.2 mm PP thick edge resting on full-metal shelf supports. According to DIN standards, the supports are designed for a load of 50 kg per square meter, and a safety pin additionally secures the shelves against slipping. The doors close using Sensys hinges from Hettich with an integrated Silent System. Hettich tests the hinge for at least 80,000 cycles and guarantees operation from +5 °C to +40 °C. Available carcass heights are 72 cm (standard), 79.2 cm (XL), and 86.4 cm (Maxi), side depths are 56.1 cm or 46.1 cm, and widths range from 20 cm to 120 cm.

For handleless designs, Nobilia hinged-door base cabinets open via push-to-open: a gentle press on the front triggers the mechanism, and the door pops open conveniently. This creates clean lines without handles and unobstructed work edges. The opening force can be finely adjusted and can optionally be combined with cushioned hinges for quiet closing. Ideal when design purism and intuitive operation come together.

Thanks to its undermount technology, Nobilia’s innovative nBOX uses the full cabinet depth and creates noticeably more storage space. Its slim drawer side, only 10.7 mm thick in slate gray, gives the pull-outs a modern, elegant look. Depending on cabinet width and depth, the nBOX can carry up to 70 kg and runs quietly and precisely – even when fully loaded. The 144 mm grid ensures a consistently harmonious joint pattern.

Within reach under the cooktop: full-extension drawers pull out completely, so pots and spices are immediately accessible. The nBOX runs smoothly and, depending on width and depth, carries heavy loads; soft-close comes as standard. A 16 mm construction shelf insulates the heat, and a spacer shelf under the cooktop provides the necessary clearance. You choose the right version: cooktop base cabinet, downdraft model (for cooktop extractors), or range conversion unit. With integrated extraction systems, the top drawer often remains usable; examples such as BORA GP4 or Xtra Hob fit into standard runs. Common widths: 60/80/90 cm.

Partial integration: The control panel remains visible, and the furniture front is shorter – the right choice when the buttons are operated from the outside. Practical reference value: ≈ 57 cm front dimension (technical basis 573 mm).

Full integration: The furniture front covers the entire appliance height; the controls are on the inside. For a calm, continuous linear appearance, plan for ≈ 72 cm front dimension (technical basis 717–720 mm).

A sink cabinet brings together everything around the sink: the trap, cleaning products, and – if desired – waste separation directly underneath. Pre-assembly including handles, feet, and plinth saves time during installation; Made in Germany ensures precise quality. A width of 60 cm is especially popular (fits most setups), while 40 cm and 90 cm versions are also available, along with a 90×90 corner solution. For everyday use, the aluminum shelf is recommended: it protects the carcass from moisture and can be cleaned quickly. All variants close quietly with soft-close.

With nobilia base cabinets, you can choose melamine for especially durable, easy-care fronts, lacquered laminate in soft matt or high gloss, ultra-matt with anti-fingerprint for a velvety look with fewer marks, as well as lacquer for maximum color depth. Laminate is recommended for very heavy use, real wood frame doors add warm accents, and glass-look/acrylic brings brilliant depth gloss. The carcass impresses with 16 mm sides and PP edges for clean finishes.
