The Nobilia oven housing cabinet with drawer is the right choice if you are planning the oven under the cooktop. With a niche dimension of 59.8 cm, the HUS60 oven housing unit is designed for common built-in ovens.

Below the oven is a drawer with a capacity of 16 liters. This provides ideal storage for baking trays, baking paper, or accessories.

The HUS60 oven housing unit is also available as an XL version with a 79.2 cm carcase height. It is suitable for both independent ovens and cooktops as well as cooktops connected to a range.

For installation, the niche dimension is what matters, meaning the height of the appliance opening in the oven housing cabinet. This opening must match the installation dimensions of your appliance. In the data sheet, the measurement is often listed as niche dimension or installation dimension as height × width × depth.

Planning tip: If you install a 45 cm compact appliance, you can combine it with a 15 cm warming drawer. This lets you use the 59 cm high niche efficiently.

A cooktop base cabinet, on the other hand, is designed for an independent cooktop. The cooktop sits on top, and below it you use the space as storage with a shelf, drawer, or pull-outs. If you are planning a downdraft extractor, you need a cooktop extractor cabinet, because the technology and air routing must be integrated into the carcase.
