Nobilia wall cabinets for extractor hoods
The extractor hood should disappear – visually at least. Nobilia offers wall cabinets and furniture doors that integrate the hood seamlessly into the kitchen run. Whether for an existing kitchen or a new plan: the hood fits in as if it had never been there.
Three cabinet types are available for flat-screen extractor hoods. The wall cabinet with door combines the hood with usable storage space above it. The wall cabinet with folding lift door and the wall cabinet with swing flap open upwards, freeing up the head area above the cooktop. All three types are available in widths of 60 cm and 90 cm.
For the Integrata from Airforce, there is a matching furniture door that is attached directly to the hood. For fully integrated extractor hoods, the WTDAI door is available, integrating the appliance flush into the cabinet run.

Advantages
Wall cabinets for extractor hoods differ structurally from standard wall cabinets. The cabinet base has an opening for the extractor hood's exhaust duct, so no subsequent modification to the cabinet is necessary. Instead of insert shelves, metal shelves are installed that permanently withstand heat and moisture. An internal panel conceals the duct and connection, ensuring a neat appearance. All models are planned in the N144 grid and can be ordered in almost all Nobilia front decors.

Wall cabinets with door for flat-screen extractor hoods
The wall cabinet with hinged door is the most robust and lowest-maintenance option for integrating an extractor hood. The door swings open to the side and provides full access to the interior fittings. The cabinet base has an opening for the extractor hood's exhaust duct, so no subsequent modification to the cabinet is necessary. Above the hood, metal shelves with a depth of 8 cm provide additional storage space. Depending on the cabinet and appliance model, up to 4 shelves are available. Thanks to Sensys hinges with Silent System damping, the door closes gently and quietly. The wall suspension is designed for a load capacity of 75 kg.

Wall cabinets with folding lift door for flat-screen extractor hoods
The wall cabinet with folding lift door opens upwards and folds together in a space-saving way. The handle remains easy to reach even when the flap is open. An intermediate hinge protects against trapped fingers. The flap closes gently and quietly, regardless of how much force it is released with. Inside, metal shelves with a depth of 8 cm provide sturdy storage space above the extractor hood. Depending on the cabinet and appliance model, up to 4 shelves are available, including metal shelves and insert shelves. Optionally, the cabinet can be fitted with Servo-Drive, which opens and closes the flap electrically at the touch of a button.

Wall cabinets with swing flap for flat-screen extractor hoods

Door for integrated extractor hoods
WTDAI is the right front solution if you are planning an integrated extractor hood in a 60 cm wide wall cabinet conversion with flap front. This version is designed for a cabinet height of 57.3 cm and a depth of 32 cm. This makes it easier to see whether the door fits your installation situation. WTDAI is therefore not a general solution for any hood, but is intended specifically for this nobilia conversion concept. This helps you plan more reliably and achieve a consistent front appearance in your kitchen.

Choose the cabinet height to match the kitchen run
Choose the same cabinet height for the extractor hood wall cabinet as for your other wall cabinets. Only then will the visual lines of the kitchen run remain consistent and the proportions look right. Nobilia plans all wall cabinets in the N144 grid. All widths, heights, and fittings are coordinated with the 32 mm drilling grid system and fit together precisely. The fronts can be ordered in almost all current Nobilia decors – you choose front color and decor just as you would for any other Nobilia furniture. Handles and fittings are configured separately.
Which cabinet fits which extractor hood?
The wall cabinets with door, folding lift door, and swing flap are designed for flat-screen extractor hoods. They have a prepared base opening for the exhaust duct. The door for the Integrata extractor hood is compatible exclusively with the Nobilia Integrata system. The door for integrated extractor hoods with the designation WTDAI fits fully integrated hoods installed into the cabinet and is not the same as the Integrata system. If you are unsure which type you have, checking the type plate on your hood or having a quick conversation with our advisory team will help.
Which width fits my extractor hood?
The width of the cabinet depends on the width of your extractor hood. Cabinets with a width of 60 cm accommodate 60 cm hoods, and cabinets with a width of 90 cm accommodate 90 cm hoods. You can find the width of your hood on the type plate or in the appliance manual. If you are unsure, our advisory team will be happy to help.
Which height is the right one for my kitchen run?
The height of the cabinet depends on the grid dimension of your other wall cabinets. Nobilia plans kitchens in the N144 grid, so the heights 57.6 cm ▪ 72 cm ▪ 79.2 cm and 86.4 cm are precisely coordinated with all other Nobilia wall cabinets. If your wall cabinets have a height of 72 cm, you should also choose 72 cm for the extractor hood cabinet. If you are planning a new kitchen and are unsure, our advisory team will be happy to help.
When do I need a door for the Integrata hood?
The door for the Integrata extractor hood (WTDAI) is intended exclusively for integrated extractor systems. In these systems, the hood sits completely inside the cabinet and is not visible from the outside. The front element is attached directly to the hood and gives it the same appearance as the other cabinet doors. You only need this product if you are installing or later replacing an Integrata hood system. For all other hood types, choose one of the three cabinet types with door, folding lift door, or swing flap.
When do I need the WTDAI door?
The WTDAI door is intended for fully integrated extractor hoods that are installed completely inside a wall cabinet. It is not the same as the Integrata from Airforce. You only need this product if your hood is installed in a wall cabinet with a height of 57.3 cm and a depth of 32 cm.
How to plan the right wall cabinet for your extractor hood
First, determine the width of your extractor hood. Then choose the opening type: if the cabinet swings open toward the front, you need sufficient clearance in front of the cooktop. The folding lift door and the swing flap do not require swing space to the front and are therefore the space-saving options. Next, choose the height to match the rest of your cabinet run. Finally, check whether your extractor hood is compatible with the selected cabinet type. The compatibility overview in the section above shows you which type is suitable for which hood. If in doubt, our advisory team will be happy to help.
Quality & durability
Nobilia wall cabinets are tested in the company's own QA testing laboratory for a minimum service life of 15 years before delivery. The requirements are significantly above DIN standards. Hinged doors withstand 80,000 load cycles, drawers and pull-outs 60,000 to 80,000. The wall suspension is designed for a load capacity of 75 kg, and each insert shelf supports 16 kg. The 16 mm cabinet body is melamine resin-coated on both sides, the 2.8 mm HDF back panel is painted on both sides and mold-resistant. Sensys hinges with Silent System damping close gently and quietly from an opening angle of 35°. Production takes place exclusively in Germany and meets the requirements of the RAL quality mark Goldenes M.
Sustainability
The wood for Nobilia kitchen furniture comes from PEFC-certified forests. The certificate guarantees that a new tree is replanted for every tree felled. The chipboards used consist of up to 70% recycled wood material. Many Nobilia product lines carry the Blue Angel label and therefore meet particularly strict requirements for emissions and environmental compatibility. All cabinets are produced exclusively in Germany. Shipping is carried out as a DHL GOGREEN shipment, in which the CO₂ emissions of transport are offset through certified climate protection projects.
