A Nobilia country-style shelf is an open end shelf with integrated pilasters that is planned next to a kitchen cabinet and finishes the run where it ends. The pilasters are manufactured in the front material of your Nobilia range and make the shelf appear as part of the run. The Nobilia country-style shelf gives the kitchen run an open finish in the character of the country-house style. The integrated pilasters pick up the classic structure of frame fronts and are manufactured in the front material of the respective Nobilia range, so the color and surface of the shelf match the surrounding cabinets exactly. The range is available for the Nordic, Cascada, Sylt and Chalet programs.

The shelf provides the run with open storage space directly at the end. Cookbooks, spices or personal decorative pieces find a permanent place here. Nobilia offers end shelves for all positions in the run: from the base cabinet to the wall cabinet and top cabinet through to the highboard and tall cabinet. All types are also suitable for Nobilia runs in living areas.

The modern country-house style at Nobilia ranges from classic frame fronts in white and reed to a reduced Scandi look in stone blue or sand. The end shelf picks up the color and surface of the respective program and continues its character at the end of the run.

The right carcass height is based on the ergonomic working height, not on body height. The decisive factor is the point at which the elbows rest slightly bent while working. Nobilia offers three base cabinet heights: 72.0 cm (standard), 79.2 cm (XL) and 86.4 cm (Maxi). All shelf types in the country-style kitchen are matched to this basic height and follow the same grid system. The run only looks harmonious if all types come from the same height system.

Every nobilia piece of furniture is thoroughly tested in the company’s own QM testing laboratory before it goes into series production. The 16 mm-thick shelves with PP thick edge are impact-resistant, moisture-resistant, and easily support more than 80 dinner plates. All-metal shelf supports with safety pin ensure lasting stability. Independent certification marks such as the TÜV GS mark and the RAL quality mark “Golden M” confirm what is developed in the lab.

Nobilia tests all shelves in its own QM testing laboratory for a minimum service life of 15 years. The wood-based materials used meet the strictest formaldehyde standards worldwide: CARB2, TSCA Title VI, and F‑Four‑Star. The TÜV Rheinland GS certification mark and the RAL quality mark Golden M independently confirm tested safety, load-bearing capacity, and material quality.
