A Nobilia top-mounted shelf is planned next to the top-mounted cabinet and gives it a harmonious side finish thanks to its bevelled outer side. For country-style kitchen plans, the top-mounted shelves are also equipped with integrated decorative mouldings.

Top-mounted cabinets are placed on the worktop and extend kitchen storage upward. The top-mounted shelf complements this cabinet at the side. It is attached directly to it and finishes the unit where the cabinet ends. The bevel on the free side creates a soft transition to the wall, making the combination of cabinet and shelf appear as one continuous element.

The top end shelf for modern kitchens is available in shelf colors and therefore integrates into almost all current Nobilia ranges. The country-style end shelf has a different construction. Its integrated decorative mouldings, called pilasters in technical terminology, are made in the front material of the respective country-style range and therefore match the surrounding cabinets exactly in color. It is available for the Nordic, Cascada, Sylt, and Chalet ranges, although Chalet is listed as a discontinued range.

Nobilia top-mounted shelves are available in two versions. Which one is right depends on the style of your kitchen.

Nobilia tests all shelves in its own QM testing laboratory for a minimum service life of 15 years. The wood-based materials used meet the strictest formaldehyde standards under CARB2 and F-Four-Star, which are considered the most stringent worldwide in wood-based material processing. The TÜV's GS safety mark and the RAL Golden M quality mark confirm independently tested safety and material quality. All Nobilia furniture has been produced exclusively in Germany since 1945.

Nobilia uses wood-based materials from PEFC-certified forests managed according to strict sustainable forestry standards. Emission class A according to RAL-GZ 437 and CARB2 certification ensure that the materials are safe for health. A tested minimum service life of 15 years reduces resource consumption over the entire period of use.
