Filler strips with U-seal compensate for uneven walls and prevent dirt and moisture from getting behind the base cabinet run – an underestimated planning detail. Lacquered side panels from Nobilia are cut to fixed depth dimensions and finished with a lacquered edge at the front and rear – for plans with high-gloss or lacquer fronts without a visible raw edge. Spacer and construction shelves protect base cabinets from heat generated by built-in appliances underneath – 16 mm thick, precisely matched to Nobilia system dimensions.
