Our Flash fronts are the entry point into high-gloss kitchens. Lacquer laminate means that a recycled PET lacquer film is stretched over the carrier board and overcoated with UV lacquer. This creates a hardened surface with a high-gloss appearance.

Reorder fronts instead of buying a new kitchen?
In many cases, the cabinet carcasses are completely fine – only the kitchen fronts need an update. With us, you can buy Nobilia kitchen fronts along with kitchen front panels / trim panels with an exact fit: we produce hinge and handle drillings to match your Nobilia kitchen (for year of manufacture/purchase date from 2014 onward), connect fronts to existing drawers and pull-outs on request, and support you in replacing kitchen fronts – including Nobilia flap doors, folding lift doors, and Nobilia glass fronts. For insurance claims (e.g. water damage or defects), you will receive a cost estimate. Our experienced specialist team makes renewing kitchen fronts plug-and-play: replacement is easy to carry out on site. Depending on the number of cabinets, the cost for an average kitchen is usually around €1,500–3,000. Important for your inquiry: provide the year of manufacture, number/types of cabinets, and front dimensions – you will receive a quote within 24 hours.

Melamine coating – explained briefly
Melamine is a synthetic-resin-impregnated decorative paper that is pressed directly onto our MDF carrier board under pressure and heat (direct coating/DPL).
The result is a hard, pore-free surface in a color, wood, or stone look. Fronts with a melamine resin finish are ideal for heavily used kitchen fronts and entry-level kitchens.

High-gloss lacquer (Lux, NovaLux)
Nobilia fronts in premium matte lacquer are among Nobilia’s highest-quality front series: extremely durable, easy to clean, and with exceptional color depth thanks to multiple layers of lacquer. The fully lacquered edges with a perfect radius create an elegant, timeless look; the inside is sealed with melamine resin – easy to clean and durable. High-gloss kitchen fronts remain the classic in German kitchens. The former 555 Lux program has been marketed by Nobilia under the new name 115 NovaLux since 2024.

Nobilia fronts in ultra-matte lacquer are considered the easiest-care kitchen fronts in the range: anti-fingerprint also makes them ideal for handleless kitchen designs. A surrounding, impact-resistant PP edge, high-quality applied and with a fine chamfer, ensures a precise transition to the surface. The highly cross-linked functional layer provides maximum wear resistance, topped by a matte lacquer finish. The base is a high-quality PET film for rich color depth in a budget-friendly construction; the inside is melamine resin sealed – hygienic, durable, and quick to clean.

Nobilia Perfect Matte lacquer combines premium looks with everyday practicality: anti-fingerprint makes the fronts ideal for LINE N (handleless), while the lacquered edges all around create a calm, modern look. Thanks to innovative matting technology, exceptional color depth with a velvety feel is achieved. The surface is highly scratch- and abrasion-resistant and exceptionally easy to care for – perfect if you want to modernize Nobilia fronts or replace kitchen fronts.
The final lacquer layer is a special finish lacquer with the latest matting technology – providing anti-fingerprint and the typical velvety matte, deep appearance.

Solid wood fronts (York)
The Nobilia solid wood front combines a solid wood frame with a veneered panel – stable, high-quality, and natural in appearance. Two matte lacquer coats emphasize the grain, keep the wood structure visible, and provide a velvety feel. The upper lacquer layer acts as a durable protective coating, is particularly abrasion-resistant, and preserves the front in daily kitchen use. Ideal if you are looking for Nobilia fronts with authentic natural materiality.
